On the first day of the Festival one of the most colorful runs in our country took place on. At the start of the Fancy Dress Run there was a number of celebrities: Smurfs, Amor and the Master from Once Upon a Time... Life, Pharaoh, and many others. What was really taken into consideration was not to speed but just having fun.

The Iron Run event was the novelty of this-year-edition of the Running Festival in Krynica. The participants of the event took part in five races within three days. The first one to take place was the so-called Krynica Mile. 101 runners took part in it. The order in which they had came to the Krynica Mile finish line determinated the order with which they would start in the next race.

David Wolinski, a fashion designer, and Edith Herbuś, an actress, joined the Parkowa Mountain Run to be held in the framework of the 9th edition of the Małopolska Mountain Running.

More than 1,800 athletes took part in the Lifetime Ten TAURON Run - the fastest run on a distance of 10 km being organized in Poland nowadays. The course descending all the way to the finish line favors beating your personal best. Justyna Kowalczyk was among the lucky ones who achieved that goal.

Mimo deszczowej pogody 98 osób spędziło weekend w poszukiwaniu punktów kontrolnych umieszczonych na trasie Mordownika. Zawodnicy ruszyli z Kroczyc i mieli do wyboru dwie opcje. Dla tych, którzy stawiali pierwsze kroki w imprezach na orientację, przygotowano krótszą, 15-kilometrową trasę. Jej uczestnicy w ciągu 5 godzin musieli odnaleźć 5 punktów.

There were plenty of Women Run participants at the Promenade in Krynica just before 11 am on Saturday, 7th of September. Participants had to run 1 km in 20 minutes time. The competition was open to every woman of all age. For some of the participants it was a significantchallenge, but you could march or stroll along the distance. Every woman got a medal at the finish line.
